Calipus offers different engagement models to meet global clients diverse needs.

Fixed Price/Duration

This model is used when the scope and specifications of the project are reasonably clear. A fixed price project is one wherein the project is implemented under a fixed budget and timeline. At the onset of the project a detailed requirement gathering and analysis process is carried out. Based on the requirements gathered the time and cost estimate is given to the client. The development process is carried out on the basis of the requirements laid down. Fixed Price Model suits best for clients who wants fixed price for fixed scoped project. This model guarantees on-time, on-budget delivery of projects.

Hourly Rate Assignment Model

In Hourly Rate Assignment Model, projects are mapped for defined number of hours and resources deployed for implementing each task. The advantage of using this model is that the client has the flexibility to develop specifications from time to time, based on market trends and needs. Also, to maintain clarity and ensure authenticity, regular reports are made available to the client on the hours spent on each task within a project. This model is best suited for:

  • Consultancy such as project scoping and specification writing
  • Projects where design and specification changes can be done as per needs, at any stage during the project development
  • Projects where it is difficult to estimate anticipated duration of project
  • Projects in which you are looking for spending defined number of hours, which may not necessarily be continuous
  • Projects in which client requirements are cyclic and want to retain us as their preferred solution partner
  • Clients looking for getting the right solution rather than solution on time

Full Time Equivalents (FTE)

FTE model is an IT staffing solution in which you will have complete control over technical resources involved in your project. The cost of this model is on a pro-rate monthly rate per resource. These could be software engineers, Software testers, project managers or analysts or consultants. This model is also referred to as virtual staffing or staff augmentation model. FTE is a good option if you need a dedicated team of highly-qualified professionals serving your requirements. You should opt for this model when:

  • Your need does not fit into the fixed price model
  • You want to manage the resources yourself

FTE best suited for:

  • Projects where continuous changes and enhancement of features are anticipated
